How we invest
It is our own capital. There is no fund to return, no vintage and no pressure to deploy, so we can hold for a generation and say no without explanation.
We prefer small, durable businesses to large, fragile ones, and founders who intend to still be running the company in twenty years. Most of what we back applies the Internet or software to a real problem, often in a market or a country that others overlook.
Australia and Japan are home. The trust and its companies have operated in more than seventy-five countries.

We read every approach. Write to us in plain words: what you are building, why you are the one to build it, and what you would do with the money. A deck is welcome but not required.
