Project Description
Honexus is improving well-being of communities in need through a self-sustaining and empowering ICT business model.
Focus is on primary health care, and improving the baseline healthcare experiences of people in rural African villages. Using open-source software and low-cost, low-power micro computers, Honexus’ first project will help to transform the way rural hospitals maintain patient records, with a view to improving efficiency and reliability and ultimately local health standards.
A pilot project is currently being rolled out in Uganda following site visits to Africa in 2013.
